Why wouldn't we just hire help internally?
You could! Newell is really best for small to midsized agencies who need an extra set of hands for intermediate and advanced web design & development. Even on our most expensive plan, Newell can save an agency thousands of dollars a year when compared to the cost hiring, onboarding, and training a new senior web developer.
What do you mean by "unlimited task requests"?
It’s as simple as it sounds! After you subscribe, you can add as many individual tasks to your queue as you’d like and we will complete them in sequential order – either one at a time or two at a time depending on your plan.
What do you mean by "unlimited revisions"?
It’s as simple as it sounds! You can request as many updates, edits, or revisions to a particular task as you’d like – even after it has been completed.
How is a task different than a project?
Good question! Projects usually involve a larger set of tasks. With that in mind, we ask our members to split projects up into individual tasks. For example: if you wanted to build a website from scratch for a client – the initial prototyping, sitemap development, and UX wireframing exercises would be the initial set of tasks, while eventual UI design and web development itself would be the secondary set of tasks in the overarching website project. You’d add each of these tasks to your queue and then rearrange them within the broader list based on priority & urgency. Here’s another example to help illustrate the point:
- Project: Develop new set of landing pages for a paid digital advertising campaign
- Tasks: Develop initial wireframes, develop finalized UI, web page development, integrate with tracking/analytics for attribution
How quickly will tasks be completed?
Supa fast! We aim to touch the active task(s) in your dashboard within 24 hours of them being added. Occasionally we may need additional information, access, or data in order to deliver work. In such instances we’ll identify needs and tag your team as quickly as possible. Once we have all the relevant information & data, we’ll get to work right away. Most tasks are completed within 2 business days but this timeline can vary for tasks of greater complexity and/or scope.
What is your standard brief for tasks?
Good news, we don’t have one! Feel free to utilize whatever brief your agency already uses, or better yet – skip the brief altogether! Because your subscription offers unlimited task requests & revisions we’ll take a stab at whatever you send our way regardless of the amount of background information we have on hand. Of course, the less information provided upfront, the more rounds of revision we will likely need. That said, we understand that sometimes its easier to see & react to something than it is to provide clear instructions upfront.
How do I make task requests?
Once you purchase a subscription, we’ll get your task dashboard setup. From there we’ll include helpful videos that show you how to add tasks to your queue, add task details, and change task statuses. All of our project management happens within ClickUp which offers nearly unlimited ways to share information/background directly within a task including: Google Doc embeds, media uploads, video recordings, and more. The email you use for registration will be granted access to this dashboard.
